Kevin O’Leary calls on all candidates to release their authentic membership sales at membership deadline

Toronto, ON – In the last 69 days, the O’Leary Campaign has sold 35,336 memberships and raised over $902,408.67 through its website and organizational team.

Mr. O’Leary is urging every candidate to release their accurate membership sales.  Mr. O’Leary is also encouraging the Party to do a full audit of the complete membership list to ensure all sales are fully legal and conform to the rules.

“Following the issue we brought to light earlier this month regarding sketchy organizers buying fraudulent memberships, it is critical that all campaigns adopt the highest standards of ethical conduct when reporting on their membership sales,” Mr. O’Leary said.

“I am very proud of the work we have done,” said Mr. O’Leary.  “This represents a record number of sales per day for any candidate in the race, and I am particularly pleased by the huge percentage that have joined the Party through university and campus clubs.”

As of today, Mr. O’Leary is looking forward to winning the confidence of the existing membership as we enter the next phase of the campaign.
